Separation Fence, Ma'ale Adumim, Kamenetz Rooftops

On the left side of the photo is the partially constructed separation fence that is eventually supposed to close off northern Jerusalem from Ramallah and its satellite neighborhoods. Toward the center and right is Ma'ale Adumim. Down below in the foreground are some rooftops of the Kiryat Kamenetz enclave of the Neve Yaakov neighborhood in north-eastern Jerusalem. 25 February 2006
Just Before Shabbat: Ma'ale Adumim & Kiryat Kamenetz

The distant red-roofed area in the background is Ma'ale Adumim, which is just beyond Jerusalem's north-eastern boundary. The buildings toward the front of the photo are part of Kiryat Kamenetz, a religious enclave in Jerusalem's Neve Yaakov neighborhood. This was taken late Friday afternoon, erev Shabbat Mishpatim, 25 February 2006.
